The blockcopolymersofpoly(D-lactide)-b-poly(butylenesuccinate)-b-poly(D-lactide) (PDLA-b-PBS-b- PDLA) wereaddedintoPLLAmatrixtoenhancethetoughnessofPLLAbysolutioncastingmethod.The properties ofthe films wereinvestigatedbywideangleX-raydiffractometry(WAXD),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)andtensiletesting.TheWAXDandDSCresultsshowedthatthe stereocomplexwasthemajorcrystallinewhentheamountofcopolymeradditionexceeded30wt%. The blendingsampleswithhighmechanicalstrengthandtoughnesscouldbeobtainedonlywhen certain amountofPDLA-b-PBS-b-PDLA copolymerswereadded.
